Kernel configuration/option for DVB?

Hello. I want to know the specific KERNEL configuration option
that should be changed for installing DVB card on LINUX.
Example: enable module, IP, IPX, Masquareding, GRE, others?
I plan to install DVB without any ethernet card, WAN, but
with ordinary external modem and PPTP (Tunnelling?).
I use MAKE MENUCONFIG command.
