I do not know what M$ netshow is (and frankly, I don't want to
know), but here are two pieces of additional information:

1. the original download location is:
     http://www.microsoft.com:80/netshow/download/en/beta/netshow_linux.gz
   there is also an IRIX version at
     http://www.microsoft.com:80/netshow/download/en/beta/netshow_sgi.gz

2. These files were created on August 4th, 1997.
