hi guenther,
if you are behind a masq-gateway it is a little bit more complicated,
some time ago on linuxtv.org was a HOWTO exactly for what you are trying
to
do. I don´t know if it is still there. the only thhong I can tell you is
that your config can´t work, cause the internetstream you want to receive
is
adressed to your   mac-adress whitch is dynamically calculated from your
ip-adress you get from your provider, that is why you have to start dvbd
after connecting. You can´t receive any ping from 196.177.32.196 because
the
ping comes over satellite.
I remember that your problem could be solved with iptunel or something
like
that, but it is all descibed in the HOWTO.
