Was there a recording going on on your second card when that happened?
There might still be a problem in that case (I have received a message
about such a situation from somebody else, too, but unfortunately
haven't had the time to investigate it yet).

For the moment you can disable the scanning by removing the call
at the end of the main loop in vdr.c (IIRC lines 309 and 310).
