1. Well, my TV has volume control, but when connected to the DVBs card,
the TV sound is terribly disturbed, probably a ground loop, I tried out
a lot,but couldn't stop it.So I don't use the TV speakers.
That's why.

Pressing "Up" = Play does the same, wouldn't be a loss.
