[linux-dvb] Re: LNB loop-through



You can find detailed information on how the LNB loopthrough works at
http://us.st.com/stonline/index.shtml , if you search for LNBP 13SP or
whatever version is on your card.
Some of the LNBP's, depending on the version, can be put in slave mode,
by putting high/low to the right pin.
That way the signals (13/18V, 22 kHz) are looped through. If no driver
is at work and the card is powered (the computer is running), that works
by itself, and only when the driver starts, the card goes into master
mode.
