It's magic!

No, seriously: the OSD can have up to 7 separate windows, each of which can have
2, 4, 16 or 256 colors. Take a look at dvbapi.c's cDvbApi::Open() function and see
the osd->Create() calls. These create several separate OSD windows (with different
color depths) that together make the full OSD. (This area is still a little crude,
I want to put this information somewhere else, but for the moment it works).

I don't use LIRC, so I'm afraid I can't reproduce this. It works fine
with my RCU remote control.

I did increase the number of characters that are read from the LIRC
input (as was suggested by Andre Valentin <av2000@topmail.de>). Could
that cause this (unlikely as it may seem)?
