sending a signal would be even better than an SVDRP command in my eyes.
(I wouldnt have to ope a connection to localhost, and all the stuff needed
for sending the SVDRP command). But someone may disagree.
and I would suggest to reserve SIGHUP for something different:
e.g. reread commands.conf (and maybe channels.conf, timers.conf) ?
