[linux-dvb] new Hauppage-card, no picture

Hello everyone,

I bought a new Hauppauge WinTV DVB-s card today. It says additionally "model 564" on the carton.

the driver builds ok, but when I "make insmod" I get in dmesg:

I have sound, but no picture. The card has no S-VHS-out on the back, but a hosiden-connector with supplied cable at which end you can find 4 chinch-connectors with sp/dif, "tvout" (supposedly composite), audio left, right and a mini-plug for line out. The card also has a mini-plug-connector for an infra-red-receiver (supplied) and a supplied remote.

when the driver gets loaded, my widescreen-tv switches from 4:3 to widescreen but the screen remains blue. rmmod-ing the driver gets it back to 4:3-mode. I have audio (from the cards audio-out) and can switch channels with tuxzap.

I copied the Root and Dpram files to a manually created directory /lib/dvb/0.9.3

Is this card not supported (yet?), do I have to try different about the firmware, is the card broken?

Tried to read anything I could find now for hours and now hope for someone helping me out.

Thank you,

Achim
