[linux-dvb] GOOD NEWs: communities or landlords in europe can't forbidsattelite dishes

Hi,

I've just read a Document on the ASTRA-Homepage about a sheet published
by EU-commission, which claims that any European has the right to
receive sattelite-services.

In short:

1.) It is allowed to set up a dish without any administrative
permissions.

2.) There are no taxes allowed on dishes (if you have paid, you can
demand to get the taxes back, even by trial).

3.) There are no architectural restrictions allowed (only to use a
common receiving-system, if you have several flats, or hidden positions,
but only if all services you want are provided and the costs don't rise
too much).

The EU-commission's sheet claims the right to have sattelite services
being based on freedom of expression and unobstructed transfer of
merchandise.

The test from ASTRA is at
http://www.ses-astra.com/market/deutschland/rechtslage/parabolantenne.htm and the original EU-document is at http://www.ses-astra.com/market/deutschland/download/antenna_de.pdf (both in german).
