[linux-dvb] DVB projects overview?

Hi,

I'm just getting started on all this DVB stuff.

Is there an overview of how everything's related?

Is there only one DVB interface on Linux? (that would be nice)

Next up from there I'm interested in VDR (seems to go nicely with DVB).

Then videolan - which also is supposed to work with DVB (haven't got
that working yet though) but doesn't seem to work with VDR files.

Then someone told me about DVBVideoLAN but I can't access the
http://pulp.mine.nu/dvbcideolan server.
