[linux-dvb] it takes a long time to switch channels (NEWSTRUCT)

Hello,

It seems to take a long time sometimes to switch channels with NEWSTRUCT
in vdr. The old driver would quickly snap to the new channel, while the
new driver sometimes seems to take its time surrounding the channel
change. What are the potnential causes for this?

I have a HAUPPAUGE DVB/S card and am using NEWSTRUCT of current
CVS. References to the "old driver" will involve running vdr-1.0.2, while
references of NEWSTRUCT mean I'm running vdr-1.1.10. (I haven't converted
to 1.1.11 yet)
