OK, thanks that helps.

But now I have an other problem: I connect to my server via telnet,
set the DISPLAY and try to start tuxview, but:

melchior:/usr/local/src/DVB/apps/tuxzap/src # export
DISPLAY=balthasar:0.0
melchior:/usr/local/src/DVB/apps/tuxzap/src # ./tuxview
found v4l device /dev/video0
setting dev to /dev/video0

serial 196 error_code 144 request_code 136 minor_code 0

For a very short time a new window is opened, but it is
killed immediately. Some suggestions?
