[linux-dvb] NEWSTRUCT doesn't tune

Hi all,

I got problems using my technisat DVB-S rev 1.5 (Skystar 1) with NEWSTRUCT
driver from the latest cvs.
It doesn't tune.

I get these errors with vdr-1.1.14 for every channel I'm trying to tune:

ott 30 20:09:54 darkgoo vdr[2734]: switching to channel 2
ott 30 20:09:57 darkgoo vdr[2734]: ERROR: channel 2 not locked on DVB card 1!
ott 30 20:09:57 darkgoo vdr[2734]: retrying

While with dvbtune I have to issue the command two times, with the same result
of vdr:

#./dvbtune -f 11766 -p V -s 27500 -v 160 -a 80
Using DVB card "Alps BSRU6"
tuning DVB-S to L-Band:1107311276, Pol:V Srate=27500000, 22kHz=off
polling....
Getting frontend event
FE_GET_EVENT: Value too large for defined data type

#./dvbtune -f 11766 -p V -s 27500 -v 160 -a 80
Using DVB card "Alps BSRU6"
tuning DVB-S to L-Band:1107311276, Pol:V Srate=27500000, 22kHz=off
polling....
Getting frontend event
FE_STATUS: FE_TIMEDOUT
Not able to lock to the signal on the given frequency

Don't know what to do, with 0.9.4 driver and vdr 1.1.9 everything works well
except for some casual ARM crashing when switching to some particular channel
(which is the reason I started to mess with the NEWSTRUCT driver).

The last thing... when I insmod the modules I get these messages:

dvb_register_adapter: registering new adapter (Siemens/Technotrend/Hauppauge
PCI rev1.3).
saa7146_core.o: : bus:0, rev:1, mem:0xd8d3d000.
av7110 (0): AV7111 - firm f0240009, rtsl b0250018, vid 71010068, app 00012502
dvb_frontend_init: initialising frontend 0:0 (Alps BSRU6)...

So, my card is recognized as a rev 1.3 and not 1.5 like it really is. I hope
it doesn't matter.
Anyway, what should I do? Is it a driver problem?

ciao,
Francesco
