[linux-dvb] Re: new. perfect fidbirq() improved

Hello,
i have a simple question. Must the DVB-S be assigned to
a separate Interrupt or is it possible that DVB-S shares its
interrupt with other devices like snd, net or so.
My system with apm enabled assignes irq11 to all devices
on the motherboard and also to the DVB-S. It runs perhaps
1 or 2 days and then when switching channels the system
hangs. sometimes killing fe_thread, vdr and runvdr helps,
sometimes a hard reset must be done. I use vdr 1.1.20 and
dvb driver from ??.10.2002. I changed the pci latency timer to 8
clocks but no improve of stability.
The problem also appeared with my old vdr 1.0.4 and
the matching driver version.
