[linux-dvb] frontend signal and power

I have installed a WinTV Hauppauge card in Windows and
I can watch TV without problems. Now I have installed
it in Linux.I am trying to run the first example in
the API which try to confirm that the frontend has
signal, power and spectrum_inv but I have a problem.
It always says that the frontend has no spectrum_inv;
and sometimes!! it says that the frontend has no power
and no signal.Why??!!
