[linux-dvb] kernel freeze caused by dvb driver or vdr

Hi!

Since a week or so I get a kernel freeze if I load the dvb drivers. I tested
drivers from 28122002 - 1.0.0Pre2 and vdr 1.1.23 -1.125. No matter which
combination it freezes. The only to things I tried the last week are the new
dvb driver (pre2) and alsa 0.9.2 (but the crashes was before that too).

It can't be the PSU because :
I have an enermax 350W
it run stable with vdr 1.1.23 and 28122002 before and the machine runs
rockstable as long as I let my fingers from dvb.

I hope it is not an hardware issue (i.e. the dvb-card is broken)

Has anyone an idea how i could isolate the problem ?

hardware:
MSI 6330 v3 (KT133A)
Geforce2mx
Duron 1100
Siemens Rev 1.3
(firewire, isdn-card, network-card, soundcard (cs46xx, terratec dmx
xfire1024))
