[linux-dvb] Viaacess it works - but it is a strange success-story

Hello

Finally after lots of trial and error I got it rather reliable working

linuxtv-dvb-1.0.0-pre2, Root-icam and Dpram-icam allow recording
and reading under vdr-1.26

My channels-conf looks like this.

CH1:12399:h:S13.0E:27500:160:80,81:0:401:901:318:8500:0
CH2:12399:h:S13.0E:27500:163:92,93:0:401:907:318:8500:0
SFI:12399:h:S13.0E:27500:167:103:0:401:911:318:8500:0
SSR Sat:12399:h:S13.0E:27500:165:98,99:0:401:910:318:8500:0

My Hardware 1 Hauppauge Nexus - 3 1/2" CI
            3 Hauppauge Nova

What strikes me:
Using latest CVS-Version I can mostly view SFI and SSR (SSR mostly
and SFI when switching to SSR before). CH1 or CH2 worked only after
reloading the driver waiting for 10 seconds starting vdr .. for a short while.
Switching between CH1 and CH2 first lost "CH1" and then "CH2"
All this was using -icam. Without usage of the -icam-versions I could not
view anything.

Also strange: With the CVS-Version of DVB-files I can't do any recording
at all. Only exception: When starting the recording from xawtv using
the red button. Timer-recording never worked and every attemp was followed
 by an emergency-exit of vdr.

In contrast to that version 1.0.0-pre2 worked rather reliable and I could
do now a sequence of 6 short recordings without any crash.

Just my findings as a simple user :-)

Regards
Wolfgang
