On *paper*. Or has anyone ever actually seen an AV7110 with a *working*
Firewire interface? Considering that the AV7110 is 6+ years old and never
really made it past the prototype stage, I wouldn't be surprised if the
reason for its Firewire interface never being used is that it simply
doesn't work...

(IMHO the AV7110 is a piece of junk and any product with it should be
avoided. And TI should publically apologize for developing, but never
finishing it;)
