[linux-dvb] Hauppauge DVB-c rev2.1: losing very strong signal after 3 seconds

Hi!

I am using a Hauppauge DVB-c rev2.1 card, which works fine for about 3 seconds (composite out and xawtv pictures are fine). However after 3 seconds the card seems to lose the signal. See dvbtune output below. The behaviour is the same on subsequent invocations of dvbtune.

The card is installed in a DELL PowerEdge 1650 server and works for at least 20 min using Windows 2000 (I didn't want to test any longer). It does exhibit above described behaviour using either one of linux-2.4.20-18.8, linux-2.6.0-test1 or linux-2.6.0-test1-ac2 with the appropriate kernel-dvb drivers.

Is this a known problem? Are there any workarounds or patches? If not where do I start looking?

Any help, guidance or support would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Tobias

Tuning to the signal:

[root@pe-11 /usr/src/cvs/dvbtune]# ./dvbtune -s 6900 -I 2 -f 418000000 -v 656 -a 657
