ok, now i receive these entries in /var/log/messages:

Jul 25 07:24:10 thomas vdr[3772]: setting primary device to 1
Jul 25 07:24:10 thomas vdr[3772]: device 1 has no MPEG decoder
Jul 25 07:24:10 thomas vdr[3772]: SVDRP listening on port 2001

And then the process hangs. A ps ax show

3811 pts/0    S      0:00 /bin/sh ./runvdr
3817 pts/0    S      0:00 su -c ./vdr -w 60 -t /dev/tty8
3818 pts/0    S      0:00 ./vdr -w 60 -t /dev/tty8
3825 ?        SW     0:00 [kdvb-fe-0:0]

When I kill one of the ./vdr processes I receive these output:

Session terminated, killing shell... ...killed.

...
