[linux-dvb] Hauppage WinTV Nova-t USB



Hi,

I'm having some trouble getting this card to work. I'm using a 2.4.20 kernel (gentoo) and trying to use the latest dvb-kernel driver. Everything compiles and after trial and error with the insmod script it seems that the board users the alps_tdmb7 tuner as this is the only module that creates a frontend device in the /dev/dvb/adapter0 directory.

When I try and scan (using the scan app in the linuxtv 1.0.0 download) I get the following output:

dmesg shows the following:

I read that the sc_main.mc file should come from the hauppage folder in windows. but it doesn't seem to exist. I also read that my card should use one of the grundig tuners, but it doesn't create a frontend device.

Any ideas?
