You can try the INVERSION_ON and then INVERSION_OFF setting. This can be done using scan or szap.
What software are you using to set the parameters?
I have implemented AUTO inversion for demodulators that don't support that. I'll post a patch as soon as I've done more testing. This should eliminate any issues with Spectral Inversion.

It's the forth bit of the control data (Byte 5) of the SL1935. The byte number 5 should either be 0x18 or 0x08. Sorry about this, it wasn't very clear.
