I asked a similar question some days ago. This time at least
somebody cared to answer....

As far as I can image, the most interesting thing would be S3.
Many people like to reduce boot up times. Since this means a power
loss of PCI cards, the firmware for the DVB-Card is lost
(one of the most important things I think).
Does anybody know if there is a possibility to execute a script upon
resume from power states? This would give us the prelimiary possibility
to remove the DVB modules and insert them again. I estimate this would
allow a startup time less than 10 seconds.
