Could you test a fresh checkout of CVS dvb-kernel? I made some patches for
the Typhoon card, which is also a KNC1 clone, and had the issues you
describe above. It's working fine here with CVS dvb-kernel.
Ok. This is definitely a step above what it was before. I can now get a
signal, however I am not able to hold the signal. Using mplayer, since I
haven't set up any other program for this yet, I am able to get a cache of
the video, however after the cache is full it stop receiving for some reason.
Sample session:
Starting playback...
VDec: vo config request - 480 x 576 (preferred csp: Planar YV12)
VDec: using Planar YV12 as output csp (no 0)
Movie-Aspect is 1.33:1 - prescaling to correct movie aspect.
VO: [xv] 480x576 => 768x576 Planar YV12

It does play for that caches worth of video, but after that it dies. I have
tried this from a new start also and it still doesn't work correctly.
Let me know if there is anything in particular that I can do, or any
information you might need, as it would be nice to get this working with the
main stream drivers.
