[linux-dvb] Re: Re^3: Audio/volume issues with Siemens DVB-C,especially analog module

It seems to me that I am one of the (few ?) lucky persons whose
Siemens DVB-C analog modul is working with sound.

There are a couple of discussion concerning analogmodul on vdrportal.de e.g.
http://vdrportal.de/board/thread.php?threadid=11096 (in german)

Well .. in order to compare I send my configuration:

dvb driver cvs version 24/04/2004

$ lspci -v

        Memory at fb004000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=512]

$ lsmod

Video and audio are fine and can be displayed by xawtv even while vdr
is running. Switching from dvb to television (analog modul) and back works.
Sometimes vdr has to be convinced go on working by changing channels
within vdr.

I haven't tried recording from analog modul. Not yet time found.

analogtv is _not_ supporting analog modul. I checked the source and found
some code that starts integrate the analog modul. I am a sysadmin ;-) thus
programming is not my real business ;-(

Hope to have encouraged you!
Michael
