I don't know if that patch would help for the VDSB problem in any way.
It was just a stange thing I found during the tests - this happens all
the time if you are trying to get some facts about a problem.

I think there is more than one reason for the VDSB problem. I am running
the VDR patch I posted some days ago on the VDR ML for more than one
week now and did not get a single VDSB error since. So for me the
problem seems to be solved but obviously it isn't for others.
