Andreas also mentioned this, but I assumed that it was configuration trouble, 
since tzap was working ok.

Hmm, could it be that only the FE_GET_EVENT ioctl is broken, and 
FE_READ_STATUS is still working, apart for the fact that I know tzap is using 
the latter, I'm only guessing. It's too late to start poking this now..
