This *CANNOT* be done. The Common Interface is *NOT* a true PCMCIA slot. It
only happens to be PCMCIA compatible at the *PRE-CONFIGURATION* phase. As
soon as you configure a CAM, it will have pins for MPEG-2 transport stream
input and output which are used for other things in a PCMCIA slot and a
host CANNOT control the pins of a PCMCIA slot to emulate the CI behavior
either.
So stop dreaming and realize that you will have to purchase a DVB card with
a Common Interface if you have a need for CA.
