[linux-dvb] scan problems

Hi,

I have sowered the Internet for several hours for a solution to this one 
so as a last resort I am emailing this list.

Scan does not seem to be working!

I am using an (old style) Hauppage Nova-T to receive transmissions from 
the Sutton Coldfield transmitter in the UK. I used scan to create a 
channels.conf over a year ago. Since then the channel line up has 
changed so I need to repeat the scan. I must also point out that I have 
re-installed my system since then, but broadly speaking DVB seems to be 
working. (I can watch TV using mplayer and mythtv)

I am using the driver supplied with kernel 2.6.10 and 
linuxtv-dvb-apps-1.1.0.
