    Indeed the speed looks like being the problem . From /dev/hdc (11Mb/s ) the movie
is smooth . If I deactivate DMA ( 4Mb/s) the same glitches.

    But how under windows with a soft player that involves much more load on processor
( on linux dvdplayer only takes about 20%) and display on monitor all looks just OK.
