try the CVS version of nvram-wakeup at
    http://cvs.sourceforge.net/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/nvram-wakeup/nvram-wakeup/

there is a get_the_time option in nvram-wakeup.h
(you can choose if the PC is running at local or at GM time)
