[vdr] workaround for Rev 2.x cards

Servus

I heared that the Rev 2.x card don't have an RGB output anymore thus
becoming totally useless for connecting them to a television set.

Does anybody have an idea how to still get decent video? Well the
problem is I do have a Matrox, but I already use it for my 2 main
screens. The only new card I could install would be an S3 graphics card.
Is there a way to get syncfb or at least normal fbdev running on it so I
can use it for watching television.

My current idea is like this, I configure my X-Server so it has a 3rd
screen on the S3. There I run EffecTV as a deinterlacer. The problem
with that is it's not synced in any way so it'll suffer from artifacts.
Well the quality still might be better than composite video (yuck).

I still don't understand why the missing RGB connector hasn't caused an
uproar yet, I mean the RGB connector is the selling feature for that
card, without it, that card is almoust useless.
