[vdr] Re: tech.diff

I tried now the patch number 3 and I hadnīt some probs. But now I get in
SNR 16.0dB, before I had there 0.0dB like my screenies...

In /var/log/message are these entries:

Jun 22 12:31:44 multimedia vdr[1737]: switching to channel 1
Jun 22 12:31:50 multimedia vdr[1737]: no translation found for 'VCD' in
language 1 (Deutsch)
Jun 22 12:31:50 multimedia vdr[1737]: no translation found for 'Tech' in
language 1 (Deutsch)
Jun 22 12:31:50 multimedia kernel: VFS: Disk change detected on device
ide1(22,0)
Jun 22 12:31:50 multimedia kernel: VFS: Disk change detected on device
ide1(22,0)

I think itīs only a translation fail in i18xxx ;)

mh, yes; I see you have a 0 SNR read and a quite low SS value. Perhaps
this is due to a funny way the driver is reporting this value. Need to
go better inside driver's code... however from the tech patch's point of

view, everything it's ok.

did you have segmentation faults or other problems with an older patch,
number 3 perhaps?

any dvb-c user which can test it?
