the used LCD is a standard 20x4. connected to the parallel
port. (see martin.s page for that: http://home.pages.at/linux/dvb.html)
so it.s totally supported by VDR without any special
adjustments. (that.s why i bought it. *g*)
it.s just a bit larger. :) just large enough to be read from
a 3m distance.

it.s more or less the EA 8204-CN type.
i got mine from ebay for about 40 euro. don.t know exactly anymore.
but take care: if you.re used to the smaller LCDs, than you may
be disappointed by the smaller viewing angle of the bigger LCDs.
