One of the myths that keep going since SuSE 5.x... This problem should
be fixed since a while ;)
But basically the distributions are all on their way to look more and
more similar to each other, which makes it easy to choose whatever
distribution you like. It rather matters what gcc/glibc was used to
build the binaries than the distribution they are actually made for.
