[vdr] Re: slow reacting remote control

Hi,
a friend has a similar problem with his remote. The reaction was slow or
only after a double hit of a key. His problem was a bad code for his
preprogrammed remote control. lirc wasn't able to detect the used code and
so it was used in raw mode. Not very nice...

Then we have searched for a RC5 code on the remote (i think it was a code
for a Phillips unit). That is now fast and lirc detects all keys at the
first try.

I hope, it is a help for you.

Oliver
