just a little hint (vdr 1.1.19):
if a entry in channels.conf missing the SID
HOT:12480:v:S19.2E:27500:1279:1280:0:0:0:0:0:0
instead of
HOT:12480:v:S19.2E:27500:1279:1280:0:0:40:0:0:0 
(hard to find in hundreds of lines...)
vdr load it without logging an error but shows all
channels with channel number '0' ...
