[vdr] Re: TERM settings and console plugin.

the TERM variable is used to tell the applications how the underlying
terminal works. Basically, you cannot just use another TERM setting and
expect the terminal (be it hard- or software) to cope with it. Of course 
applications using advanced terminal features need a correctly set TERM
environment variable to work properly. Why would you want to set
TERM=xterm in the vdr console anyway?
