[vdr] OT: size of svcd?

Hello,
I am trying to archive some recordings made with vdr to svcd
using tosvcd.

The problem is, that the bin-file of the converted program
is to large (882.117.600 Bytes).
The recording was made with my DVB-c card and signal rate
6500.

What can I do to get a usefull svcd on my 80min CDROM?
- downsize resolution
- frame rate
- signal rate
