[vdr] vdr crashes

Hi!

I have a little problem with vdr. It "crashes" after some hours. I've used
vdr 1.2.2, 1.2.5 and 1.2.6pre2. With all
versions I discover the same problem. I'am using Debain 3.0r1 with kernel
v2.4.22 from the testing tree. My
card is a Hauppauge Nexus-S. I've no plugins installed and I'am starting
vdr with "vdr -w 60 -d". I've also
used different version's of the DVB driver e.g. 1.0.0, 1.0.1 and different
versions from the CVS including
the one Klaus recommends for vdr 1.2.6pre2.
Here a description of the problem: When I start "vdr -w 60 -d" it runs for
several hours. In this time I
see vdr in the process list with "top" using about 1.7-2.0% of the cpu.
When I look with "top" after 10 hours
if vdr is still in the top list I can't see it anymore. But "ps -ef | grep
vdr" shows me that the vdr processes
are still available. But sometimes even this is not the case. When the
processes are still available
and I grab a picture with LinVDR the picture is black. When I kill the vdr
process and restart it everything
works fine again.
When I look in /var/log/messages or /var/log/syslog I only see the
following messages:

/var/log/messages:
Oct 21 22:11:56 kermit -- MARK --

It seems that theese crash occoured at 3:50. In this case vdr is still
available but I can't
e.g. grab a picture with LinVDR any more. Here the syslog output:

/var/log/syslog:
Oct 22 03:50:48 kermit kernel: OutCommand: timeout waiting for COMMAND idle
Oct 22 03:50:48 kermit kernel: SOutCommand error
Oct 22 03:50:48 kermit kernel: outcom error

Oct 22 03:50:54 kermit kernel: outcom error
Oct 22 03:50:54 kermit last message repeated 3 times

Does anybody know what the kernel errors means? It seems like a problem
with the Alphacrypt modul.
Any suggestions would be very helpful.

Thanks!
Robert
