Broken pipe

Any idea where I can start to debug the reason why the pipe is breaking.

Running tosvcd 0.5 provides

write of YUV output failed: Broken pipe

Not sure if this is relevant mjpegtools compiled without avifile as I
cannot get this to compile on my system.

TIA

/Steve
