[vdr] svdrpsend.pl hang

Hi all,

Is there a trick for executing an svdrpsend command within VDR commands
menu?
I tried to do that but it seems VDR "hangs" when using svdrpsend directly
within the commands.conf so I can't execute any commands.

In particular I would need only muting vdr before lanching another
application (xine)

any ideas or solutions?
