We finally managed to complete the new linuxtv.org
server installation and changed DNS entries to activate
the new server.
Highlights:
- replaced the old, unmaintainable XML cruft with a few lean and mean html/php pages
- integrated a MediaWiki based LinuxTV and VDR Wiki
- replaced cvsweb with viewcvs for online CVS browsing
- switched mailing list software from Ecartis/Mhonarc to Mailman
We apologize for any inconvenience caused by these changes, especially the switch to
Mailman, but we are confident that the decision for Mailman was the right one.
