Hi, can anyone please tell me what modules I need to have loaded to run
my WinTV Nova-T TV card? The last time I set it up it seemed to go quite
smoothly - but this is a new Debian Unstable install and a new PC - and
things aren't going so well this time around.
Here are the modules I currently have loaded:
raid517 at Linux1:~$ lmod
bash: lmod: command not found
raid517 at Linux1:~$ lsmod

I have no idea where the tda1004x firmware came from as I have not
installed that myself - yet - although I'm not sure if I still need to
in the new 2.611x kernels.
I have a working channels.conf file taken from another working install
and I ran MAKEDEV-DVB.sh to make the required devices in /dev and I
changed the permission on all of the devices created there to rwx for
all - but nonetheless kaffeine/kaxtv and Xine are both complaining that
they can't tune the DVB card.
Can anyone throw any light on where I might be going wrong?
Any input anyone can offer at all would be very much appreciated.
GJ
