Hi everybody,
i'm new to dvb and to this mailing list.

I just installed my dvb-s card. At driver level everything seems to work
fine.

I try to do this:

[root at stranamore ~]# szap
-c/usr/share/doc/dvb-apps-1.1.0/channels.conf-dvbs-astra 'Rai 1'

reading channels from file
'/usr/share/doc/dvb-apps-1.1.0/channels.conf-dvbs-astra'
zapping to 63 'RAI 1':
sat 0, frequency = 10786 MHz V, symbolrate 21997000, vpid = 0x0121, apid
= 0x0122
using '/dev/dvb/adapter0/frontend0' and '/dev/dvb/adapter0/demux0'
status 00 | signal ffff | snr 0000 | ber 00194790 | unc ffffffff |
status 01 | signal 0000 | snr 6262 | ber 00194790 | unc ffffffff |
status 01 | signal 0000 | snr 5858 | ber 00194790 | unc ffffffff |
status 01 | signal 0404 | snr 6f6f | ber 00194682 | unc ffffffff |
...
...

On another terminal i do this:

[root at stranamore ~]# scandvb -c
using '/dev/dvb/adapter0/frontend0' and '/dev/dvb/adapter0/demux0'
WARNING: filter timeout pid 0x0011
WARNING: filter timeout pid 0x0000
dumping lists (0 services)
Done.

Just until now i've also tried with kaffeine with no good results.

Just to be sure, i've tried to plug the satellite cable to an analog
receiver, and it works.

Where am i wrong?

Tnx
Riccardo
