Sorry, i have to correct myself:
download a snapshot from:
   http://www.linuxtv.org/downloads/video4linux/
I had a glance at: video4linux-20050714.tar.gz

The current cvs unnecessarily doesn't compile the saa7134 dvb code
for kernels older than 2.6.13.
