[linux-dvb] Obtaining channels.conf for dishnetwork.

Hello.
About a week ago I managed to make my dvb-s card work under linux (at
least it seems to work), but I haven't managed yet to watch anything.
I'm missing the channels.conf file needed for mplayer/xine/others. I
have tried to use the scan utility to generate it, but it receives a
file as argument describing what I guess are frequencies. How do I
build such a file? The satellite in question es echostar 119 west
(echostar 241 east). It is not one of the sample satellites on the
dvb-s directory. I have the list of frequencies that MyTheatre (for
windows) uses, but I do not understand the syntax of the file. I've
tried writing the file myself ('S 12297000 L 20000000 AUTO', without
fully understanding what the 'S' and 'AUTO' means, or if 'L' is the
right argument there), but I get messages like
------------------
$ scan -l DBSdvb-s/Echostar-241E
scanning dvb-s/Echostar-241E
using '/dev/dvb/adapter0/frontend0' and '/dev/dvb/adapter0/demux0'
initial transponder 12297000 L 20000000 9

>>> tune to: 12326:h:0:20000

or sometimes
-------------------------------
>>> tune to: 12297:h:0:20000
Network Name 'EchoStar 119 West'
0x0000 0x0078: pmt_pid 0x0000 HIST -- HIST (???, scrambled)

0x0000 0x0081: pmt_pid 0x0000 BRAVO -- BRAVO (???, scrambled)
(...)
-------------------------------

but the list is never complete (in particular, none of the FTA
channels that echostar 119w carries are on it).

Could anyone provide me with a correct scan input file and/or a
channels.conf file for echostar 119w? And, when I have the
list/channels.conf, will be enough to do 'mplayer
dvb://someFTAchannel' to test the card?

Regards,
                 Luis.
