Yep, it's 1.11 and the card works well again under XP as well as Linux.

Had to re-compile my 2.6.10 kernel and video4linux as of 24022005
and do a depmod over all the modules in /lib/modules/2.6.10/*

Next I powered down the computer, let it cool down for 10 minutes
or so.

After a switching on again everything was fine and the problems with the
old crc32 module had vanished as well.
