Same Problem 4 me
The last workin Kernel was
2.6.10-rc2-mm4 // Andrew Mortan

after this i tryed any newer Versions, but only with the new one
from Andrew Mortan 2.6.11-mm4 it works korektly.

All under Gentoo <== the only one Distri
